Livingston County’s Consortium on Aging is hosting its 2024 Senior Resource Expo from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the 2/42 Community Church, 7526 Grand River Ave. in Brighton. The event will feature dozens of vendors and giveaways.
The main event is a one-woman “theatrical memoir” performed by Breeda Miller. Miller brings to life her immigrant mother’s story, playing each role as she charts, in profound and funny ways, the particular and general experiences of immigrants caring for their parents. The show is a joyous exploration of love, roots, and family.
