Decisions made in Lansing have a direct and far-reaching impact on the quality of life for seniors in Michigan. Each year, AgeWays Nonprofit Senior Services participates in Senior Action Week and the Older Michiganian’s Day Rally held on the lawn of the Capitol Building. This very important annual advocacy event helps give seniors a voice and help legislators understand both the needs and the voting power of seniors.

Senior Action Week is a week full of activities, events and advocacy that let advocates understand and lend their support to issues of importance for older adults in Michigan.
