Decisions made in Lansing have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of older adults across Michigan. Each year, AgeWays Nonprofit Senior Services proudly participates in Senior Action Week and the Older Michiganians Day Rally at the Michigan State Capitol. These important annual advocacy events give seniors a platform to share their voices and help legislators better understand both the needs—and the voting power—of Michigan’s aging population.
Senior Action Week is filled with activities, events, and advocacy efforts designed to raise awareness and build support around key issues affecting older adults statewide.

We would ask that you share this information with your network to obtain as many signed letters as possible to make a noticeable impact on elected officials. The letters must be collected by May 7th.
