Proven Health Outcomes

Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less has a strong track record. According to the program’s website, 70% of participants have maintained or lost more weight six months after the program ended, and 16% saw their blood pressure fall within a normal range. Many participants have reported positive changes in their A1C readings, and some were able to reduce their blood pressure from concerning levels to normal.

“The program can help participants learn ways to live a healthier lifestyle and make changes to improve their overall health and reduce the risk for developing heart disease and diabetes. It can also be beneficial to help manage chronic conditions. Many completers of the program have reported positive changes to their A1C readings and others were able to reduce their blood pressure from concerning readings to normal,” says Jeannine Roach, MSA, manager of Health Promotion at AgeWays.
