We offer presentations to groups within the community to help raise awareness and provide information on important topics. Our focus is on providing these presentations to low-income community housing, organizations, or groups supporting older adults, caregivers, and others in need of assistance. Our presentations are available for groups of 10 or more participants.
Presentation Topics
We offer a variety of presentations tailored to the unique needs of your audience. Our general overview presentations fall into three categories:
- Caregiver Support Presentations
These are designed to provide family and caregivers with resources and tools to better care for their loved ones. Topics include self-care for caregivers, available support programs, and tips for managing caregiving responsibilities.
- General Information Presentations
A broad overview of the services we offer, including Meals on Wheels, transportation assistance, home care services, and other resources to support seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- MMAP (Michigan Medicare Assistance Program) Presentations
Learn about Medicare options, savings programs, and how to navigate Medicare and Medicaid benefits. This presentation is ideal for those approaching Medicare age or current beneficiaries looking to optimize their coverage.
Presentation Requirements
- Audience Size: Groups of 10 or more are required for any presentation request.
- Target Audience: We prioritize requests from low-income community housing and organizations serving vulnerable populations.
- Request Timing: Requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance to allow for scheduling and preparation.
